Scott Cummings - Pastor
Who Am I: I'm a fun-loving, adventurous, outdoor-loving, faithful, flawed yet redeemed child of God! I'm blessed to be married to Carrie, and blessed with three terrific kids, Jake, Ben, & Caroline. I'm so excited to be here at Peace Church! I can see God is really moving here! I'm thrilled to be part of such a vibrant, dynamic, committed, faithful bunch of friends.
Where I'm from: I came to Peace Church in 2010 from First Presbyterian Church of Conroe, where I served as Associate Pastor. I graduated from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2002. I was born and raised in Houston and went to college and seminary in Austin. I spent many summers at Camp Cho-Yeh in Livingston,Texas, both as a camper growing up, and as a counselor and administrator. My wife, Carrie, grew up in Austin and we met in college at the University of Texas at Austin, where I earned a B.A. degree in psychology.

Where I see God at work at Peace Church: I truly believe God is calling us to be different. We've always been different, so why stop now! God is calling us to be a fully missional church, a church that sees the role of EVERY member to be a missionary, living out our faith and blessing people wherever we are. The church is not a building or what we do on Sundays, but the church is God's people, working for His purpose, wherever they may be in life - at home, school, work, with family, friends, in our neighborhoods, & serving those in need.
