*Reminder - Summer Joint Worship Service at 10am & Sunday School at 11am - During June and July*
Life of Peace
WELCOME!! If you are a guest with us here at Peace Church, welcome! Our prayer is that you find our family of faith warm and welcoming and that you consider joining us again soon. Below are announcements about the many ways we are involved in our community and how we seek to bless it. If you have any questions or want to get involved in anything you read about below, don’t hesitate to ask me or call or text Pastor Scott’s phone at (936) 520-7711. And if there is ever anything at all we can do for you, please just ask!
IMPORTANT Summer Worship Changes: Each Sunday in June and July, from June 5th - July 31st, we are combining our two services into one! We will have ONE worship service at 10am and Sunday School at 11am. Then starting August 7th, we’ll be back to our regular 9am & 11:15am worship service schedule. This joint service will be a blended service with elements and musical styles from both the current 9:00 & 11:15 services. Session has voted to do this as part of our ECO Church Transformation Process. It has been suggested by our transformation coach that we spend some time together as we begin thinking and praying about God’s future for us. In July we will be having some discussions about where God is leading us and this schedule allows that to happen all together. Please support Peace Church in this time of dreaming and praying about our future!

Re:Vision Sunday School Small Groups: On Sundays, July 10th, 17th, and 24th, there will be special small group time for all ages during the 11am Sunday School hour to go along with the upcoming sermon series. During this time, we will look at our past, present, and future as we prayerfully seek to learn what God would have us be in the future. ALL youth, adults and children are asked to attend to give feedback about our future. If you've never attended Sunday School before, please do so during this season of discernment. These meetings will be times to study the Bible passage from each sermon, apply it to our lives, and give feedback that will help our leadership in our re:visioning process. It is essential for us to have EVERYONE give their input. At least two of the groups will meet online as well as in person, so the options should work for all. There will also be a daily guide to prayer for the days between the Sundays and we hope everyone will tell us what they hear God saying in their prayers. Please join us! *Normal Sunday School lessons will resume on Sunday, August 7th.*
Upcoming Sermon Series: Re:Vision – A series on where we’ve been, who we are, and where we’re headed. God has done amazing things in and through Peace Church over the past 15 years or so! God is currently at work through us, and God has great things in store for us in the future! As part of our renewal process we’re engaged in, we’ll spend these Sundays appreciating our past and present and dreaming about our future. After worship at 11:00 am we’ll have special small groups to discuss each week’s message and give feedback to Session about our renewal vision. We need EVERYONE to participate, so don’t miss it! It runs July 10 - July 24. Join us!
