WELCOME!! If you are a guest with us here at Peace Church, welcome! Our prayer is that you find our family of faith warm and welcoming and that you consider joining us again soon. Below are announcements about the many ways we are involved in our community and how we seek to bless it. PHASE 2 OF REOPENING: 9:00a service - masks are recommended; 11:15a service - masks are required. UPDATE: Masks are optional at all events other than the 11:15am service and indoor events with kids under 18 and recommended but not required at all outdoor events. Nursey is open and is available. Other worship protocols will stay the same.

Sunday School Classes at 10:10am: Adult Acts Class will meet every Sunday at 10:10am (Zoom Meeting ID: 848-6574-3340 & Password has been emailed). APP Class will meet every Sunday at 10:10am (Zoom Meeting ID: 814-761-095 & Password has been emailed). Bible Study Class will meet every Sunday at 10:10am (Zoom Meeting ID: 233-917-368 & Password has been emailed).
PeaceYouth Meeting: Sunday, Sept. 26th will be a FUN trip to MSR Go Carts from 3-5 p.m.! Please bring $15 and a mask for the car ride. Invite a friend or two and be sure the waiver is filled out and signed! Sunday, Oct. 3rd will be a Make A Wish Foundation Mission Event from 4-7:15 p.m. Please wear jeans and bring a mask for the car ride.
Weeknight Small Group Returns! We’re trying something new with small group this fall. Starting on Wednesday, September 29th, at 7 p.m., Pastor Scott will be hosting small group at Iguana Rana’s Restaurant (6200 Broadway/518) to encourage people outside the church to join. It will be an open discussion of the big questions of life. Also, the plan is for a portion of all food or drinks purchased each night to go to Pearland Neighborhood Center or other local charities. Join us!
New Current Series - Underdogs: Heroes of Humility: In this series we'll compare various underdogs from culture and history to biblical underdogs and see how God is at work in both. We'll discover how we can become unexpected champions for the Lord as we see God's hand at work in these stories. So join us and see how God can turn YOU into a hero of humility, too! This series runs from September 12th - October 24th.
Immunization Clinic: Randalls and Stacey Perez is hosting an immunization clinic on TODAY, Sunday, September 26th from 10a-12:30p - administering flu shots and vaccines for COVID-19, Shingles, Pneumonia and Tetanus. Free with most insurances. If there is a cost, you can pay by check or cash. Please bring your insurance card! Contact Stacey Perez for more information.
Elder & 2022 Nominating Committee Member Suggestions: The 2021 Nominating Committee needs your help in getting name suggestions for people to nominate for the 2022 Nominating Committee & next class of ruling elders. Start submitting your suggestions to Pastor Scott. Forms are in the bulletin and in paper form in Welcome Center. Nominations are due Sunday, Oct. 3rd. Thanks!
Drive Through Prayer: Mark your calendar for our next Drive Through Prayer event on Saturday, October 9th, from 10am—12pm. Let’s show our community how much we care!
Drive Through Trunk or Treat: Our annual Trunk or Treat outreach event is on Saturday, October 23rd from 3-5pm here at the church! Volunteers are needed and the sign up sheet is on the bulletin board. If you’d like to volunteer as hosting a trunk, please make sure that the theme of your trunk is not scary. Make it fun and festive!
2021 Peace for Pearland Golf Tournament! Thank you to everyone who golfed, volunteered, donated, sponsored and in any way participated in making this year’s golf tournament a success!! A BIG thanks to Pastor Scott & Jeff Morris, Golf Tournament Co-Chairs, who did a phenomenal job coordinating this event!!
